Rivian R1T
The Rivian R1T, revealed in 2018 and produced in 2021, was designed to be a high-performance electric pickup truck with endless possibilities. It has the capability to handle both off-road and on-road conditions. The Rivian features a sleek and modern design, with a front end that incorporates the Rivian’s signature “stadium headlights" and a unique grille that actually functions as an aerodynamic panel. The R1T is available with three battery pack options, the base option reaching up to 230 miles, the next racing 300 miles, and the last with a range of up to 400 miles on one charge! Due to the truck's three motors, it has the capability to reach 750 horsepower and 829 lb-ft of torque. This is important because it shows the pulling capabilities this electric beast has. Pricing
The Rivian R1T is priced at $67,500 for the base model featuring the 105-kWh battery pack. However, the price does rise steeply as the highest model fully loaded could cost you over $100,000 ("Best Electric Cars").
Driving Experience
In terms of performance, the Rivian is capable of both off-road and on-road. Due to the adjustable air suspension, locking front and rear differentials, and a large depth of up to three feet, the Rivan to tackle any off-road expedition. On the road, the truck has the capability of reaching 60 mph in just three seconds, making it one of the fastest pickup trucks you could find.
